The Danish saxophone player, composer and conductor Lars Møller is a leading Scandinavian jazz figure. After living in New York 1987-89, playing with a number of the legendary jazzmusicians, Lars Møller spend several prolonged periods in New Delhi in the early 90´s assimilating the highly emotional Indian classical music. As a composer he delicately combines his knowledge of the jazz tradition with the melodic Nordic tradition and a very broad awareness of the long history of European classical music.

In this new quartet Lars Møller combines his longtime and mature musical collaboration with guitarplayer Thor Madsen with one of the most outstanding, young and dynamic bass and drums teams in Europe - Robert Landfermann and Jonas Burgwinkel. The repertoire includes new tunes based on a creative ”quarter-tone” approach to the saxophone. The band has a unique blend of american influeces combined with a free an intuitive approach to collective improvisation.
