The danish saxophoneplayer (b. 1966)
has played and recorded with leading Amarican and European artists such as NHØP, Jimmy Cobb, Billy Hart, Hermeto Pascoals
and John Abercrombie. He has succesfully assimilated several years of work with the highly emotional music of India
into a distinctive lyrical and forceful personal expression, that today marks him as a leading musical figure in Scandinavia.
Lars Møller has released 7critically acclaimed CD's. The new release "Centrifugal" follows "Kaleidoscope",
that was awarded a GRAMMY in 2000 for best Jazz-CD in Denmark.
As a bandleader he has released 6 CDs with NHØP, Billy Hart, Jimmy Cobb, John Abercrombie, Thomas Clausen,
Jesper Lundgaard and his present band. Has has played/recorded with Jimmy Cobb Group, Hermeto Pascoal, Martial
Solal, Maria Schneider, Jerry Bergonzie, John Scofield, Cæsilie Nordby, Lars Jansson and variuos danish
artists. Lars Møller has performed in more than 15 coutries. As a composer and soloist he has worked with
leading Danish and European orchestras including European Broadcasting Union Big Band and Copenhagen Philharmonic
Orchestra. Awards includes The Danish Grammy for best CD 2000, The JASA award 2000 and the honorary prize
from The Danish Jazz, Beat and Folk Composers Society in 1998. His education includes BFA in jazz from New
School 1989, New York and for several prolonged periods he studied the classical music of India on the "Shenei"
(New Delhi 1989-93).

Has played with James Moody, Chris Potter, Chris Minh Doky, Curtis Steigers, Tomas Franck. Anders Bergkrantz,
Cæcilie Nordby, Majbritte Ulrikkeholm and recorded more than 50 albums. Leads his own band "Jacob Christoffersen
- JazzXperience" CD Stunt Records 1999. Received the Danish jazz award "Sørens Penge" ("Sørens Money")in
1984. Was nominated to the JASA award in 1990 (The Danish journalists award). Received the Danish Jazz Grammy
Award with Hans Ulrik "Jazz and Mambo" in 1999 and in 2000 with Lars Møller Group.

has recorded more than 100 records and played with Van Morrison, NHOP quartet, Cæsilie Nordby, Mikkel
Nordsø Band, Bombay Hotel, C.V. Jørgensen, Kenneth Knudsen "Anima", Palle Mikkelborg "Entrance" and "Alpha
Centauri". CD's in his own name include "Bombay Hotel", "Bombay Hotel - Flower", "Change your mind" all
released on Stunt Records. He has written music for TV and for the United Nation video against war (2000).
